Procurement Description : The Department of State has a requirement for a broad range of non-personal, professional, technical, and executive-level administrative support services to all organizations within the Department of State, domestic and overseas. The work may consist of services for, but not be limited to professional, technical, analytical, security, Freedom of Information and various executive-level office administration and correspondence control support. The solicitation will detail further the requirement.

This is a pre-solicitation synopsis notice published in accordance with FAR 5.203 announcing that a solicitation will be published in the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) not earlier than 15 days from the date of this announcement. The requirements and specifications will be specified in the solicitation. All terms and conditions will be included in the solicitation. The anticipated release date of the solicitation is within the next 45 days on FedBizOpps website. A closing date for receipt of proposals will be reflected in the solicitation. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contract or Registration (www.ccr.gov). It is the responsibility of the interested parties to review the referenced website frequently for updates. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their copy of the Request for Proposals and amendments, if any. Please contact the listed person for questions regarding the solicitation.

This acquisition will be conducted as a 100% Service-Disabled Verteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside competitive procurement using FAR Part 15 procedures. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541611- for Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. Offers from other than Service-Disabled Verteran-Owned Small Business will not be considered. It is the intent of the agency to award a multiple Indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for Performance-based acquisition. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will include firm fixed price, labor hour, and reimbursable cost line items. The period of performance is anticipated to be a 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods. This notice is not a request for proposals and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract.

The distribution of the resulting solicitation will be accomplished solely through the FedBizOpps website http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available. Therefore, no written, telephone or facsimile requests for the documents will be accepted. The FedBizOpps site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and any amendments, will be distributed solely through FedBizOpps website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring FedBizOpps website to assure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
